I was pleasantly surprised by the really nice rooms that were much more spacious than I expected. Even had a small balcony, a private bathroom, and a TV. However, sharing the room with two other people was a slight inconvenience.

The rooms were really nice, spacious, and had a small balcony, private bathroom, and a TV.
Service
6.0
The service was decent, not rude, but I felt they were a bit disorganized. They did make an effort to care for personal belongings during cleaning.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect and within walking distance of many attractions. The nearby subway stations, China Town, and Little Italy made it convenient. Plus, a nice and calm atmosphere around.
Dining

The dining was very basic but acceptable. Having the option to prepare my own breakfast in the room was handy.
Facilities

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were not self-heating or conditioned, but they were quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep. I also enjoyed the small balcony with nice views that allowed me to have my own breakfast in the room.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were quiet and allowed for a nice sleep, with a small balcony for enjoying the views and having breakfast. Not self-heating or conditioned.
Service

The service was nice overall, though the staff seemed a bit unhelpful when it came to addressing my inquiries about room arrangements. However, they were kind and welcoming, offering a nice touch with a welcome drink.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is excellent, close to Chinatown, Little Italy, and East Village. However, it is in a rather dirty part of the lower East Side/Chinatown, close to both the Delancey Subway station and the Tenement Museum.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was like a hotel setting, not typical of hostels. I appreciated the option to put my own food and drink in the rooms, making it easy to have breakfast on my terms.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were adequate for my stay and offered the convenience of having my own breakfast in the room. Nothing extraordinary but served its purpose.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The Molly Picon Deluxe Suite, where I stayed, was fabulous and felt more like an apartment with a very spacious layout and a great balcony view. However, the photos of the rooms were misleading, and they did not look like they were advertised.

Rooms

The Molly Picon Deluxe Suite was fabulous and felt like an apartment with a great balcony view, but the actual rooms did not match the photos shown.
Service
5.0
The staff at the hotel were not rude, but they were not particularly helpful or organized. The service was just average, nothing exceptional.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel is the highlight, as it is right across from the Tenement Museum and in proximity to popular spots like Soho, East Village, and Little Italy. It's a lively area with plenty to explore.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were basic, nothing special to write home about. I found the experience underwhelming and the food was unimpressive.
